The program aims to train mental health professionals in trauma-informed therapy and equip them with the necessary knowledge and competencies.
Based on recent research on the targeted treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD), the main objectives of the training are to:

The phases of trauma treatment involve distinct therapeutic goals that interact with each and facilitate:
Parts Work therapy functions as a therapeutic lens which assumes that each person has many different parts in their mind, psyche, and personality. They also have multiple and sometimes conflicting emotions, thoughts, and impulses, each of which is referred to and treated as a “part” (Steele et al., 2016; Fisher, 2016; Schwartz, 2021). Parts Work helps individuals create new, creative, and functional solutions to the problems they face, as it recognizes and understands the unique composition of their inner psychological world.


The training is for mental health professionals interested in acquiring knowledge and competencies for trauma treatment, such as:

The training program lasts for a total of 120 hours.
More specifically, it includes:
Ten (10) meetings via the secure ZOOM platform, each lasting seven (7) hours (a total of 70 hours of online training). Meetings include interactive lectures, skills practice through role-playing, case presentations, and monthly group supervision.
Fifty (50) hours for personal study, sessions with clients, preparation for role-plays, writing the case study, and entries in the reflection journal.
Training material is provided at each meeting.
Assessment is ongoing during the training program. Specifically, it includes:
*Participants are required to do at least 10 hours of personal therapy during the training program.
Upon successful completion of the program, participants receive a Certificate from NBCC-Greece, a Registered Credential Training Provider of the National Board of Certified Counselors-International https://nbcc.org/
